Set in a low-fantasy version of dark age Britain, in the south of the landmass known as Iccenea, the native people are hard pressed by the steady, westward advance of foreign settlers. This danger is felt most keenly in the kingdom of Caer Celemion. Player characters take the roles of the oathsworn members of King Einon's militia - the "Gwyliwr". Such men and women are thus Caer Celemion's last line of defence. |
